The hypnotherapy that I practice is based on Cognitive Behavioural techniques that you can take into your daily life. Hypnotherapy and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy are each proven effective psychotherapeutic approaches in their own right. When used together, in Cognitive-Behavioural Hypnotherapy, treatment has been shown to be even more effective and long-lasting than either individual method.
All hypnotherapy is not the same! I recommend ensuring you choose a hypnotherapist trained in cognitive behavioural techniques if you want to maximise the benefit of your session.
The methods I use are long-established, peer-reviewed interventions and are aligned with the conclusions of, among others, the British Psychological Society, the British Medical Association and the American Medical Association.
I have a Diploma in Cognitive-Behavioural Hypnotherapy, accredited by the National Council for Hypnotherapy, the General Hypnotherapy Register, the Register for Evidence-Based Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy and approved by the British Psychological Society.
